A Great Challenge

After having won the project of Free Flow of Miljøpakke Trondheim Trinn 2 in Trondheim (Norway) and withstand extreme winter temperatures, Tecsidel is about to finish the installation of the turnkey solution consisting of 16 charging points, for a total of 57 lanes and which will be operational at the beginning of March 2014. The design of the Free Flow of Tecsidel’s solution has been updated and renovated thanks to the introduction of a redundant solution, to provide maximum reliability and 100% availability of the toll system. Electrical re-design, distribution of cabling, installation of redundant technological equipment on the gantries.

New partner in the United Arab Emirates

Tecsidel signs a representation agreement with Middle East Road Systems LLC (MERS); an Abu Dhabi based company, and owned by Bin Jabr Group. MERS will be an exclusive Tecsidel's agent within UAE.


This agreement reasserts Tecsidel's strategy to establish partnerships with well-placed local companies, to strengthen its international presence, to assure its participation in new coming tenders and, finally, to bring its advanced Toll+  systems and ITS+  solutions to new customers.

Norway wins again

On 10 May, Staten Vegvesen (NPRA) sends the official notification reporting that Tecsidel is awarded with three Free Flow Toll Collection Systems. On 10  June, the contract is signed and the installation is scheduled for late 2013 and early 2014.


The project consists of a total of 6 ETC lanes with 10 tolling points in different locations in Norway. Nowadays Tecsidel dominates a big part of the market and continues gaining ground in the country.

ITS+ in India

Soma Isolux awards Tecsidel India (Gurgaon-New Delhi) with the first ITS project in the Indian market. The project takes place in the 133km-length National Highway NH-6, Surat-Hazira section (Gujarat), and it will be equipped with ITS Plus Central Software, Control Room, Variable Message Signboards, Mobile Radio Communication Systems, Meteorological Sensors, Emergency Call Boxes, Video Cameras and Automatic Traffic Counters  and Classifiers.

Tolls for all in India

Since last February, Tecsidel India has successfully started the commissioning of its first Toll Plaza with 12 lanes in the Punjab Area in Ladowal NH1.


Tecsidel is currently installing of a 32 lane Project in the state of Rajasthan, Beawar-Kinshangarh NH8. This is a comprehensive two Plaza Project which is expected to be finished by this summer. Recently, for the same customer, Soma-Isolux, Tecsidel has been awarded a new project of two toll Plazas in the state of Gujarat, Surat-Hazira NH6 which also includes a comprehensive solution for reversible, manual and semiautomatic lanes as well as WiM and AVC systems for a total of 28 lanes.


Copexa in Mexico

Tecsidel is in the process of finishing a turnkey toll and highway project in Xalapa (Mexico) for the highway concession Copexa. The toll project consists of a 3 level system in 2 toll plazas, including   supply of all the hardware, wirings, fiber optic network, and installation and commissioning. The highway project deals with turnkey solutions implemented along the highway, such as SOS call boxes, CCTV cameras, IP phones and Variable Message Signs. From the technological point of view    Tecsidel implemented laser detection with redundant Optical DAC composed of photoelectric cells and controlled by IP PLC.
