gestion-de-red-operations

We provide solutions for EMS, NMS and OSS to operators of telecommunications in full compliance with the models TMN, FCAPS, FAB and eTOM, to cover the functional areas, levels of management and structure of processes that these models define.

We build solutions based on the implementation and eventual adaptation, both of products (LIMS, TRAMS,...), products of other allied companies endorsed reputation (IBM, Comarch,...).

We developed solutions based on Open Source OSS. Our engineers provide his experience integrating solutions based on open field OSS products, such as Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti or Talend, collected in its bundle t-QoSMOS. As example of this approach is shown in the following figure, the implementation of a manager of CPE based on Open Source components including t-QoSMOS, suitably adapted and integrated.

gestion-de-red-integracion

We develop software ' ad-hoc' in different OSS areas, usually with the aim of integrating already existing management systems, either to give them new features required by the customer, always based on the market-standard software technologies.

We have references from NMS and OSS solutions in the areas in both national and international clients. You can consult them in our references section.

Monitoring ICT company (ETSIM)

ETSIM (Enterprise Telecommunications Services and Infrastructure Monitoring) is a solution conceived by Tecsidel to monitor and measure the quality and use of telecommunication services from different places and jobs in large and medium-sized enterprises.

etsim-grafo

ETSIM focuses on the acquisition of data on two essential aspects of the telecommunications in the company:

  • Their key performance indicators (KPIS).

  • The composition of traffic level.

ETSIM provides an objective and detailed on the UX (user experience) knowledge and behaviour of the telecommunications organization, essential for improving the sizing, governance and performance of telecommunication services provided by the ICT Department of the Organization to your internal customers.

The KPI values are obtained from standard agents running on equipment (CPE) client and agents ETSIM, installed in user or specific probes ETSIM specific devices.

Information relating to traffic IP exchanged IP is obtained from Netflow, IPFIX, s-Flow or another data stream protocol generated by CPEs or NBP (Network Packet Broker) physical or virtual appliances. This information has been improved with data recovered from DHCP servers log files, answers DNS nodes. ETSIM has interfaces GUI (LCT) that will be used at the operation level.

At enterprise level, the KPIs and IP traffic information can export to a database performance high Colonnade, where it can interbreed with other business data from other sources, in order to obtain reports and dashboards, and BI analysis about the quality and the use of IP communications throughout the Organization, studied from PCs, Smartphone, Tablet, M2M nodes, servers, data centers in cloud, etc.

Platform for reports XLS (ISSBO)

ISSBO constitutes an efficient reporting platform for easy implementation and use.

It is based on the direct power and ' on-line ' sheets of an Excel workbook using HTML workflows that incorporate information extracted from databases to consult. The computer running Excel does not require any specific software to access to these databases, nor direct connectivity.

The advantages of using Excel as a tool for reporting are evident, since it's an application that is appreciated by its users, who, in addition to presenting often reluctant to replace it with other Business Intelligence tools, take full advantage of the skills already acquired in their management for the handling and analysis of data.

However, environments that are running Excel usually incorporate serious disadvantages, like the use of textual formats that have data raw but do not include graphics, the supply of files from a server that does not allow reuse customizations made by users or, in short, the absence of interactivity, since are based, at best, on a mechanism of request (parameters supply) and recovery of a file with the results. In all observed cases, the concept of interactivity is only based on manipulation of already existing data in an Excel document, local and ephemeral way, without offering any ability to control the basic data.

With ISSBO, Tecsidel advances a step in this progression, allowing a fully interactive reporting based on Excel: do not recover Excel files generated on a server they own Excel feeds on data flow required the ISSBO Server provides.

With this, the ISSBO system adapts to the actual needs of environments that require analysis of data on-demand characterized by:

  • Adaptation to the way you work to users.

  • Fully interactive, Excel-based reporting.

  • Flexible environment and low-cost access to information, either as general reporting system or as departmental complement at large companies.

ISSBO satisfies these requirements thanks to the adoption of a architecture client/server's transactional type. This architecture is characterized by the use of a cross-platform on the server-side implementation and the use in the client-side of office applications already implemented, accepted and well known by users, such as Excel.

The communication between client and server is supported by the HTTP protocol, whose step usually respect the firewall.

issbo-arquitectura

Advantages:

{slider ISSBO Client|closed}

Reuse of knowledge in Excel of the users for the development of treatments and the reporting elements:

  • Integration in the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Macros Visual Basic programming.

  • Formulas, graphics.

{slider ISSBO Server|closed}

Rationalization in the administration of the access to data:

  • Serialization of the connection to the database

  • Control of the use of the databases

  • Reusing queries and reports

  • Reuse of the opening firewalls with http protocol

{/sliders}

In summary ISSBO generates reports by filling dynamically an Excel via a workflow HTML document generated by the query to the database that the user launches so it is not necessary to automate the periodic sending of static reports to users.

The way of presenting these data - graphics, type of letter, formats, distribution - is maintained by the excel document and for its design all the resources offered by Excel may be used.

Classification of traffic IP (TRAMS)

TRAMS allows you to analyze the composition of the information flowing through an IP network based on a SCATI classification technology.

SCATI is the result of the METRA project (efficient measurement of the traffic in advanced networks), funded by the Ministry of science and innovation of the Ministry of economy and competitiveness through the program INNPACTO 2011 and carried out in cooperation with the Center for advanced communications of wide band of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia under the leadership of Tecsidel.

trams-financiacion

The classification of traffic carrying TRAMS is based on two principles that SCATI implements:

  • Sampled NetFlow as origin of routers from network traffic data.

  • Machine learning algorithms that classify the application associated with each connection from flows Sampled NetFlow.

  • Processing of a small sample of the traffic via DPI.

  • Learning and building a model of the traffic.

  • The NetFlow Traffic classification:

    • determining which application/service corresponds each flow without capturing or inspect the contents of packets (much less intrusive/expensive than DPI)

    • Re-evaluation of the accuracy of classification

    • Mitigation of the impact of sampling.

Operation of SCATI system comprises the following phase:

This gets the same information as DPI, with lower computational cost and a more scalable way.
