Tecsidel and CROCS S.A. Of C.V have signed the project requested by the San Pedro de Sula municipality which will consist of the installation and commissioning of the Toll System for the south, north and east plazas of San Pedro de Sula (Honduras). It is a conventional toll system on three levels: lane, plaza and control center, and incorporates AVC Optical, the advanced vehicle classification system. This state-of-the-art Tecsidel system allows the detection of the number of axles and the double wheel of the vehicle thanks to the installation of optical photocells.
The project covers a total of 3 plazas and 15 mixed lanes (a combination of manual and automatic tolling) and includes the ITS+ application with three panels of variable messaging. Tecsidel ITS + is the system for the monitoring, control and comprehensive management of vehicular traffic, which is compatible with the main current communication protocols.

Preventive Maintenance: Systematic technical monitoring that aims to maintain the functionality and internal and external cleaning of the system components, in order to enable early incident diagnosis.
Diagnostic-Corrective Maintenance: Technical analysis of hardware and software which identifies the cause of the anomaly and adopts the right solution.
The project is scheduled to be delivered to the San Pedro de Sula municipality in 2017, becoming Tecsidels second project in Honduras.
