New applications for Abertis Telecom in the FSM scope

In the FSM (Field Service Management) solutions scope , after the consolidation of  Preventive and Regulatory Maintenances Management System developed by Tecsidel  for Abertis Telecom sites, the integration of Technicians on Mobility Management System with the existing Works Scheduler System  of this telco operator has been started on last January.


This integration provided by Tecsidel will allow, among other innovative functionalities, to display the status of the FSM works in real time and on geographic maps at mobile device used by field technicians and at NOC video wall.

R+D+i: PYME INTEROPERABILIDAD

PYME_INTEROPERABILIDAD is a project of experimental development nationwide that Tecsidel done individually with funding provided by the Ministry of Industry, within the framework of the Strategic Action Digital Economy and Society, within the Plan of Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016 (TSI-100104-2014-24).

The aim of PYME_INTEROPERABILIDAD is to build a new platform to offer SMEs a new service that helps them automate administrative processes that relate to Public Administration. To achieve this interoperability our platform incorporates telematics services that facilitate data transmission and electronic documents with Public Administration.

The platform combines three technological elements to provide the service:

  • Competitive. Today a crucial element of competitiveness is the ability to offer value-added services at an affordable cost. That is why Tecsidel targets its services to the use of Cloud Computing technology, which is to provide an outline and scalable variable costs based on usage.

  • Easy access. Definitely one of the elements that must provide the new service value is higher productivity in administrative tasks that SMEs have to perform with Public Administration. Thus, is fundamental: in one hand, capacity of integration with management systems (ERP); on the other hand, access via mobile.

  • Security. Thanks to the use of electronic signatures as a means of Digital Identity companies for access to electronic services. Definitely one of the crucial elements to interact with electronic services of public administration is to have the ability to use electronic certificates.


So Tecsidel on this new platform combines technological elements in which already has broad experience gained over numerous projects in the field of eGovernment.

The CPIICL gives us the i3 award

The Computer Engineering  Castilla and Leon Professional Association has decided to bestow the i3 (i-cube) award as The most relevant computer engineering Organization in Castilla y León.


With this award the trajectory of Tecsidel in Valladolid is recognized, core stability work and commitment of many of its members with the socio-industrial area, Universities, Technical Associations, Business Organizations, ...


The i3 awards by the three "i" Engineering,  Technology and Innovation, recognized in the category of "The most relevant Organization" aspects such as the development of an important activity within the framework of computing and being  a reference for the group of the Computer Engineering of Castilla and Leon.


Aspects are rated as the projects develop, the public image of the Organization, promotion and development of the Computer Group, the creation of jobs among Computer Engineers, the internationalization of the Organization ...


It is certainly a recognition not only as an Organization, but also to all employees for more than 15 years have contributed to the development and consolidation center in our region.

R+D+i: PLESANDA: A Scalable Platform for Data Analytics

PLESANDA is experimental development project that Tecsidel carries out individually with funding provided by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, in the framework of the Strategic Action on Digital Economy and Society, within the Plan for Scientific Research Technical and Innovation 2013-2016 (TSI-100105-2014-186)

The aim of PLESANDA is the development of a Scalable Platform for Data Analysis to solve the challenge that means the exploitation of data generated automatically with volume and high speed. In this environment it is not possible to address data processing with the capability of a single machine, so it is necessary to deploy a set of them also specific to withstand storage and data analysis software distributed and scalable way.

PLESANDA includes the construction of its own platform and its test-bed,  regarding the Big Data paradigm - on ‘batch’ mode of processing 'batch' for analysis of large volume data without strict requirements in terms of speed, and  'real time' mode  with Complex Event Processing computing and fast correlation of data  from various sources based -  running over a Coud Computing architecture in order to provide fast delivery of virtualized IT resources (storage, processor, network, applications, etc.) and accessible remotely through network .

It also includes  the development of two applications, in two areas:

• Monitoring IP traffic statistics from NetFlow provides network equipment,

• Statistical analysis of automobile traffic on toll roads equipped with FreeFlow gantries.

For both cases Tecsidel applies  its proven knowledge on Telecommunication Networks Management Systems and Toll Systems. In the test-bed infrastructure and real systems will be used to validate the expected operation of the platform, so the two developed application could be considered as pre-release versions of data analyzers relevant for customers of mentioned areas.
