Tecsidel strength in India

West Bengal (NH34 Farakka – Raiganj) will be equipped with the Tecsidel Toll+ solution. A total of 28 lanes in 2 toll stations will allow payment by cash, Smart Card and ETC, including laser classification technology and weight in motion checkpoints. This whole solution together with the current running ITS and Toll projects in this same country will significatly strength Tecsidel´s presence on the subcontinent.



Automatic Toll Payment Machines, Autoroutes et Tunnel du Mont Blanc

Tecsidel has been awarded for the supply of ATPM to the Autoroutes et Tunnel du Mont Blanc.

Two-level machines (for heavy and light vehicles) operating 24/7 accept multiple means of payment such as coins, banknotes, credit card and bar codes, and give change (either in notes or coins). It has been built with the concept of an integral security solution, assuring the highest level of toll operation. Our commitment is durability, low maintenance and operational cost and high reliable.





Innovative toll techology in Brazil

Tecsidel installed the first Free Flow solution in Brazil in 2012, since then tecsidel has had many successes such as: The Multi-Lane Free Flow Solution in SP-332. The Highway Concession Rota Das Bandeiras is being implemented with four Gantries equipped with the Toll+ Free Flow solution.This will be up and running in the next couple of months whithin the frame of the Ponto a Ponto project.

The new gantries will be equipped with Automatic Vehicle Classification based on laser technology and OCR solution, assuring the highest performance in vehicle category detection.




SILVIA: Intelligent Validation Services in Advanced Internet


The SILVIA project, carried out under INFOREGIO 2010 program aims to value the network demonstrator coordinated and deployed by i2CAT in the context of the projects DREAMS (ICW, PROFIT) and COUNTRY (Inforegió2009), to become a platform of open technology validation in Catalonia offering advanced services in the ICT sector which validate new devices and telecommunication services transparently, from the physical layer to the application layer.

The network has three points of presence in the experimental backbone for third parties to validate their systems in a real pre-production environment, including technology demonstrators of fiber to the home, industrial and residential environment along with international connections and different Catalan sectors links to offer cross-sectorial experimentation in new services.

To achieve this goal we extend under the SILVIA project the functionality of the original network management system (including developments in other European projects) to deliver the SILVIA platform as a service through a IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) model endowing a client application in order to allow its users to easily and efficiently access their services.

Besides the innovation implicit in offering an IaaS platform model, the project carries the following innovations aimed at validation services with high added value:

  • performance monitoring services, to provide users a precise quantification performance of the equipment under test,

  • platform managers to provide the infrastructure for validation as a service to different users, in order that they can manage their tests independently, and a portal for resource request.

This management integrates both backbone and access segments, interfaces for advanced cloud computing services, to carry out testing of distributed applications and cloud services.

The SILVIA platform will allow companies that use it to have a validation environment for their products before marketing, in order to demonstrate qualitatively and quantitatively its functionalities. Additionally, SILVIA is an innovative platform that can become a claim for foreign investment in the country, due to the possibilities of tests that offers and its unique approach at European level. SILVIA also forms a tractor pole of trunk and access technologies in fiber optics which converge and join the efforts that various organizations and companies in Catalonia are making in this direction.
