Automatic terminal
Theautomatic toll collection systemusing automatic terminals is mainly based on the use ofATPM machines (Automated Toll Payment Machines).
The ATPMreplace the manual collection with operator and allow carrying out the payment of the vehicle in an autonomous waywithout any kind of human intervention. They can be of one or two levels, independent or integrated into the cabin. They accept payment in coins, bills, credit card and proximity cards. And they can perform several functions adapted to the needs of each toll such as the collection of rates, receipt of entrance tickets for payment on closed toll, information and recharging of accounts.
Tecsidel has its own ATPM product of a high performance with a large repertoire of different types installed in countries such as France, Spain, Ireland and Norway tolls.

- Stainless steel tamper-proof case with 2 mm steel for use in the outside with a useful life over 10 years. The right door corresponds to the electrical part and the left door gives access to the fundraising, both doors are equipped with independent security keys. Inside the collection case there are two chests of coins collection and one for tickets, each has an independent security key which allows access in a controlled way.

Manual toll
The manual toll is the conventional toll collection system which is made by an operator in the cabin that carries out the payment of the feefor each vehicle, using multiple methods of payment: cash (coins or banknotes), credit cards (magnetic bands or chip standard EMV), discount cards, etc.
Currently, manual collectionis usually combined with other technologies, forming the well-known mixed lanes. Mixed lanes can incorporate electronic devices or automatic terminals by automating the functions of audit and control of transactions, revenues, and incidents. However, there are countries that continue to operate only with manual systems.
Tecsidel, with a high global experience in all toll systems, has a group of experts both in software and hardware that can guarantee all kinds of solutions for different types of toll, regardless of their level of complexity.
Electronic toll collection (ETC)
The electronic identification of vehicles and automatic payment or ETC (Electronic Toll Collection), is an advanced solution that is based on the communication by short microwave range between an antenna, installed in the lane collection, and an electronic device (TAG, OBU) installed in the vehicle.
The trend towards the use of these solutions is growing because they allow the payment of the toll without using cash or the detention of the vehicle, so it saves time and infrastructures.
Tecsidels electronic solutions can be used for the following applications: toll in highways, roads, bridges, tunnels and ferries; congestion control in urban environments, control of violations with location systems and tracking integrated with satellites and access control to venues and parkings.
This type of technology can be managed through mobile or portable terminals. Our e-solutions have interoperable systems and compatible with equipment from the world leading manufacturers. {slider How does interoperability toll transactions in Tecsidel works?|closed}
The interoperability of electronic toll collection systems is subject to the protocols used for communication between the antenna and the TAG, and the consistency of the data recorded on the TAG.
The functional interoperability depends on the information recorded inside the tags, and that allows the exchange of information between different issuers and the different dealerships in order to recognize the owner of the vehicle and can thus check transits. Tecsidel can adapt to all the requirements at the regional and state level depending on governmental and concessionary policies.
Market antennas used by Tecsidel systems support the most common protocols (ISO 18000-6B, ISO 18000-6C, ISO 18000-6D, ISO B_80K and ISO 10374) and, if necessary, it can be incorporated more restricted protocols.
The IPICO TAGs use the standard protocol ISO 18000-6D. These are read without problems by the antennas supplied by Tecsidel.

La tecnología óptica utilizada por Tecsidel funciona mediante el uso de fotocélulas y escáner láser con un sistema no intrusivo. Con estos dispositivos fotoeléctricos se obtienen los perfiles de los vehículos (ancho y altura) y se consigue determinar el número de ejes, incluso los ejes suspensos y las ruedas dobles.

Tecsidel ITS Plus
La solución Tecsidel ITS Plus es un sistema de gestión de tráfico que cubre la monitorización, el control y la gestión del tránsito vehicular. Mediante una serie de herramientas software y hardware, esta solución es capaz de integrar los dispositivos instalados en la pista y los diferentes sistemas y subsistemas entre sí, optimizando la explotación de los recursos y la comunicación con el centro de gestión.

SEGA WMS with Vocollect, Jumbo Retail terminals
JUMBO RETAIL, Cencosud Group Company, implants in their distribution centers of Argentina the solution of picking by voice through the use of fully integrated Vocollect terminals with its WMS, owned by Tecsidel.
Cencosud is a company specialized in the development, marketing and administration of large shopping centers. Cencosud is considered one of the leading companies in the retail market and has a presence in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil and Colombia in the businesses of supermarkets, hypermarkets, stores to improve home and construction, shopping centers, family entertainment and real estate operations.
Jumbo has 3 distribution centers in Argentina:
- Buenos Aires, with about 55,000 square meters covered.
- Mendoza, with about 40,000 square meters covered.
- Cordoba, with about 32,000 square meters covered.
The project includes the use of 67 T5 teams in the distribution center of Buenos Aires, 65 in Mendoza and 35 in Cordoba. Their solution consists of the use of Vocollect T5 terminals, which we are partners with, to perform in this first instance, the picking orders in a more efficient way. T5 terminals are directly managed by the WMS that manages the operations of the distribution centers of Jumbo Retail in Argentina, which is Tecsidels property.
In the short term, it is expected to implement the voice picking solution in distribution center that Cencosud Group has in the trans-Andean country of Chile, which manages the Santa Isabel, Las Brisas and Jumbo operations.
